Overview
The Festo EHPS is a simple, reliable electric two-finger parallel gripper for small-to-medium parts. Gripping force is set via IO-Link across four levels (up to roughly 140 N depending on size), with three selectable grip modes (external, internal, universal). A gear self-locking feature holds the workpiece on power failure while a freewheel prevents jamming.
