Overview
The R1 Lite is the cost-reduced variant of Galaxea's R1 wheeled humanoid family. It is a bimanual mobile manipulator: two A1-class arms (6-DoF each) with Galaxea G1 grippers mounted on a 3-DoF actuated torso over an omnidirectional wheeled chassis (max ~1.5 m/s). Each arm reaches ~700 mm with a 3.5 kg rated (5 kg peak) payload. Designed for embodied-AI research, it ships with isomorphic (leader-follower) teleoperation plus VR support for demonstration collection, and Galaxea publishes its Open-World Dataset in LeRobot format on Hugging Face alongside the open-source GalaxeaVLA policy repository.
