Overview
The Inspire Robots EG2-4C2 is a controller-integrated electric 2-finger parallel gripper using an innovative linear mechanical linkage. It provides 0–20 N adjustable grip force over a 70 mm full stroke (both sides, i.e. 35 mm per finger) with precise force and position control, and holds its grip on power loss (self-locking). A single RS485 connection handles motion and feedback, with no air supply needed. It is the higher-force model of the EG2 line (EG2-4B2 is 0–15 N; EG2-1C2 is a smaller variant), aimed at biomedical detection, light assembly/sorting and service-robot tasks.
