Overview
The SMC LEHZ is the vertical-type member of SMC's LEH electric gripper family and its most common, with the widest size range. A motor drives a slide screw coupled to a lever assembly that opens and closes two fingers guided on a linear guide for alignment. The series spans body sizes 10, 16, 20, 25, 32 and 40, with stroke from 4 to 30 mm, gripping force from 2 to 210 N and finger lengths of 12–36 mm. Controllers support EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, IO-Link, CC-Link and DeviceNet.
