Overview

The SMC MHZ2 series is arguably the most widely deployed pneumatic parallel gripper family in factory automation, and the MHZ2-25D is its ø25 double-acting mid-size. An integrated linear guide positioned by two dowel pins gives high rigidity and ±0.01 mm repeatability, with an effective gripping force of 65 N per finger external (104 N internal) at 0.5 MPa and a 14 mm combined stroke. It operates from 0.1–0.7 MPa at up to 180 cycles per minute, mounts auto switches for end-position sensing, and is offered in single-acting and dust-cover variants plus food-grade, heat-resistant and anti-corrosive options.
