Overview
The Mobile AI platform is Trossen Robotics' current mobile bimanual data-collection and manipulation system, replacing the earlier Mobile ALOHA. It ships as two Leader-Follower WidowX AI arm pairs (four arms: two leader arms for teleoperation and two follower arms for execution) mounted on a wheeled mobile base, with three Intel RealSense D405 cameras locked into the frame for consistent multi-view perception. Each WidowX AI arm is a 6-DOF manipulator with 1.5 kg payload, 700 mm reach and 1 mm repeatability. The platform integrates with Hugging Face LeRobot, Google Colab, NVIDIA Isaac, MuJoCo, Gazebo and ROS 2, and is offered with or without a high-performance control laptop. It is compatible with the SLATE mobile base for extended autonomous navigation.
