The Unitree G1 EDU-U2 raises articulation to 29 degrees of freedom by upgrading to 7-DOF arms and adding a 3-DOF waist, giving the humanoid a much larger manipulation and balancing workspace than the U1. It retains the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX compute and full SDK, targeting more advanced whole-body control research.
